MDP’s carnival of Democracy, Certainly not. Merely a carnival of massacre. If stabbing people, destroying public property and disrupting peace and harmony of a nation equate democracy, Maldives would be better off without MDP.

MDP claims to be a democratic political party but sadly they cannot gulp down the fact that they are still a minority group, whose members are unfortunately working towards their individual personal gains.

In a democracy, people must accept decisions made by majority, and the fact is that majority of Maldivian voters have elected Qayyoom for our president. Maldives has never seen a more charismatic and patriotic leader who has given so much of himself to the people. He is simply the best.

It will take another of century of personal growth for MDP leaders like Anni, Zaki and Ibra before they can even walk in the shadow of Qayyooms footsteps.
