In the memories of 3rd November 1988

In the memories of 3rd November 1988 This was a day that witnessed great sadness and loss for many Maldivians, loved ones were caught up in the crossfire and many lives were lost. The turn of events that day has been published with Gayyoonism blessings and he is marking that day, November 3rd, as "Victory Day" but that is not the real case. Truth is that no one was in control of the affairs of the state that day, even way pass midnight. Many lives were lost yet, Gayoom hails the event as one of his greatest achievements, by claiming that he who foiled the coup attempt. If November 3rd was a dark day in Maldivian history, what will we call the past 30years of Maldivian history as… the Gayyoonism era… countless innocent Maldivians have been killed during this era by Gayoom and his cronies? Where is the justice for these innocent Maldivians who died in the Gayyoonism Era? Will their souls get justice from the president-elects government or not… a question yet to be answered...
