Mandarin Oriental Tapped to Manage New Maldives Resort

Mandarin Oriental is to be added to the Hotel Chain of Maldives Resorts and Spa. Mandarin Oriental has signed a management agreement for an exclusive luxury resort currently under development on a private island in the Maldives. The property, accessible by a 45-minute seaplane trip, comprises 114 stand-alone villas that open onto private pools surrounded by lush vegetation. The largest villas offer private spa facilities.
