Nasheed wants to hold snap elections halfway through his first term and the Dictator declares it illegal

The presidential candidate of the Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP), who will contest with Dictator Gayyoom in the second round of the elections on 28th October, has revealed that he has no desire to hold on to power and will give the people the opportunity to elect a leader of their choice, halfway through his term in office.
