The Government and the UN sign the Country Programme Action Plan for the next three years

25 Mar 08: The Country Programme Action Plans (CPAP) for the new programming cycle for 2008 – 2010 with the United Nations system in the Maldives was signed today. The CPAP documents, with a resource envelope of US$19.4 million, were jointly formalised by the Government and the UN Development Group’s Executive Committee (UNDG ExCom) agencies represented in the country, namely UNDP, UNICEF and UNFPA, mandated with improving UN development effectiveness at the country level.
