The President and the First Lady return to Male’ after concluding their Official Visit to India

The President and the First Lady returned to Male’ tonight after concluding their Official Visit to India. In his Official Visit to India, the President participated in the conference organised by the Indian Congress Party to commemorate the centenary of Mahatma Gandhi’s Satyagraha Movement. He also met with some Senior Officials who took part in the Conference. The President participated in the Conference in his capacity as the Leader of the Dhivehi Rayyithunge Party (DRP). The President also met with the President of the Indian National Congress, Mrs. Sonia Gandhi. The President also met with the Maldivian families and students residing in New Delhi.
